FOR THE ATHLETES
The Chalk Circle is the SafeSport-compliant network built only for competitive gymnasts — no trolls, no burner accounts, no algorithm chasing your attention. Here's exactly what happens when you join: how verification works, what your feed actually looks like, and how a training clip turns into something a coach can see.
Every athlete account starts with one simple check: a photo of your current USAG membership card. That's it — no interviews, no waiting list, no fee beyond your normal USAG membership. Once you're verified, you're marked as a real, competing gymnast, which is what keeps this feed free of the burner accounts and randoms that flood everywhere else. From there, every message you get from a coach or another adult automatically loops in a parent — not because we don't trust you, but because that's exactly what SafeSport requires, and we'd rather build it in from day one than bolt it on later.
There's no public comment section here for strangers to hide in, and no algorithm deciding what you see based on what keeps you scrolling longest. Post the perfect stick or the bail that came before it — this is a space built by people who understand both. Give real feedback, hype your teammates, and skip the performative stuff that shows up everywhere else.
Here's the part that's different from every other app: post a raw training clip or an official meet score, tag the event, and it doesn't just sit in your feed — it automatically files itself into your recruiting profile, timestamped and verified. A college coach looking at your profile sees exactly what you've posted, in order, with real scores attached — not a highlight reel you edited the night before signing day. No separate resume, no hunting through old texts for that one good vault video from sophomore year.
It's the fastest way to confirm you're a real, currently competing gymnast without asking for anything invasive — no ID scans, nothing beyond what you'd show a meet director. If your card ever expires or you move up a level, just send an updated photo and your profile stays active.
No. The Chalk Circle is open to any USAG-competitive gymnast, from Xcel through elite. What a coach is looking for changes level to level, but building your profile works the same way for everyone.
